We are glad to announce J.-Prof. Dr. Sina Zarrieß (FSU: Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science) as another new member of MSCJ. Welcome on board!
J.-Prof. Dr. Sina Zarrieß and her group investigate computational models for Natural Language Processing that analyze or generate natural language. Generally, they use and develop machine learning methods that model the meaning and use of words and utterances in text or dialogue. Their goal is to understand how humans use language for communication, and how to build practical systems and interfaces that enable smooth, verbal interaction between human users and machines. Their research interests include natural language generation and dialogue systems, as well as multi-modal language modeling and language & vision.
