We are happy to announce that Dr. Thomas Bocklitz joined MSCJ.
Thomas Bocklitz is junior research group leader in the FSU and working group leader in the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technologies (IPHT) dealing with ‘Statistical Modelling and Image Analysis’. His research focuses on the extraction of bio-medical information from photonic, spectrometric and in general physical […]
We had an extremely stimulating retreat, interesting and fruitful discussions, and exchange on scientific as well as social levels. Thanks to everyone for participating!
The Schloss Dagstuhl Scientific Directorate accepted our proposal for a Dagstuhl seminar on “Computer Science Meets Ecology” where several members of MSCJ will be involved.
The seminar will take place from February 26, 2017 (Sunday) until March 3, 2017 (Friday).
More details will follow!
We are happy to announce that Dr. Andreas Christoph joined MSCJ.
Dr. Andreas Christoph is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of History of Medicine, Natural Sciences and Technology, Ernst-Haeckel-Haus Jena. His research interests focus on the history of maps, atlases and globes.
