Online workshops research data management in April

In the summer semester of 2021, the Research Data Management Hepldesk will offer its two-day online workshop on research data management for both the natural and environmental sciences and the humanities and social sciences.
The workshops help PhD students and posdocs identify their data management needs and provide practical guidance on how to organize, structure, describe and publish data to ensure good scientific practice.
Topics addressed include: What is a data management plan? How do I document my workflow? How do I describe my data with metadata? How do I store my data and protect it from loss or misuse? How do I archive and publish my data? Which legal aspects do I have to consider and which licenses are suitable?
Registration for the online workshops offered as part of the Graduate Academy takes place via the qualification portal of the University of Jena. As preparation for the two course days, self-study material will be provided via Moodle. During the live video conferences there will be exercises, group work, discussions and short presentations.
