Talk on “Semiautomatic Plant Species Identification with Mobile Devices”

Dr. Patrick Mäder from TU Illmenau is visiting our colleagues at MPI-BGC and will give a seminar on a project “Flora Incognita”, where an app is developed to semi-automatically determine (plant) species. It will cover aspects of machine learning, technology, and biodiversity perspectives.
