This week took place the 1st Workshop on Climate Informatics jointly organized by the Computer Vision Group and Remote Sensing Section of the FSU together with the Empirical Inference of the Earth System group from the Max Planck for Biogeochemistry. During 3 days more than 30 researchers with very different backgrounds gathered and discussed the new challenges of applying computer science techniques to environmental problems. We had many stimulating discussions and scientific exchanges. Thanks to all the participants!
