Last Friday took place the workshop ‘Digital Humanities meet Computer Science’ at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. The main objective of this 1-day event was to bring together experts from the fields of humanities and computer sciences. Machine learning approaches and computer vision techniques offer unprecedented opportunities to help with digital humanities research topics.
By means of talks and joint brainstorming sessions, experts from such different research areas discussed about open possibilities and potential collaborations in an exciting and enriching ambiance. This event was organized in collaboration with the DHnet research network.
