We are extremely happy to announce that our project “Virtual Workshop for Digitization in Science” has selected to be funded for the next 5 years by the Carl Zeiss Foundation. Foundations for new paths within data science will be within this project using machine learning techniques, either in fully-automated fashion, or using human-machine interactions. The main goals of the workshop are to make the usage scientific data more efficient and to foster interdisciplinary collaborations in all fields of digitalization.
